Google is now allowing users to connect their favorite apps directly to AI Mode in Search, enabling seamless task completion without leaving search results. Supported apps include Instacart, Canva, and YouTube Music.
With these integrations, users can add groceries straight to their Instacart cart while planning meals, access Canva design templates for projects like flyers, and create and save custom playlists to YouTube Music for events. The feature is rolling out this week in the U.S.
The connected apps are part of Google's Personal Intelligence initiative, which aims to provide more tailored responses by leveraging linked services. Users can securely interact with their go-to services right within AI Mode to streamline daily tasks like shopping, event planning, and content creation.
