Strechay brings nearly three decades of experience spanning practitioner, product executive, and industry analyst roles, including executive positions at startups like Zerto, building an analytics service at Amazon Web Services, and most recently serving as managing director and principal analyst at theCUBE Research and SiliconANGLE.
His initial coverage will focus on cloud infrastructure, advanced data infrastructure, platform engineering and DevOps orchestration and observability, and the intersection points where AI and enterprise security collide. He has already begun contributing research, including a May analysis of enterprise GPU utilization examining compute waste in enterprise AI infrastructure.
This research initiative complements VentureBeat's monthly VB Pulse surveys, which track five areas of enterprise AI adoption: agentic orchestration, agent reliability and evals, agentic security and identity, AI infrastructure and compute, and context layers including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
