Anthropic researchers have developed a tool called the Jacobian lens (J-lens) to examine what's happening inside large language models. Using this tool, they discovered a hidden area they named the J-space inside Claude, which contains words related to a response the model is working on but may not ultimately produce—similar to revealing what's on its mind before it speaks.
OpenAI has unveiled its "super app" called ChatGPT Work, which combines its chatbot, coding tool, and new models. The product is designed to handle work tasks both for users and collaboratively with them. It launched the same day as OpenAI's GPT 5.6 models.
